Euphoria - Lost In Trance (1973 us, hard 'n' rough psych jam rock)

This very rare 1973 private press hard rock record in that Primevil, Magi, Wedge vein but even more primitive and down and dirty with filthy acid guitar like you love.

Euphoria formed Wiscons round 1973, showed amazing songwriting talent plus musical ability Classic midwest American heavy psych with somewhat biker vibe Raging agressive Fuzz-guitar leads  with great echoey-reverb effects ,true sledgehammer bass ,crunching drums ,very melodic tunefull vocals. A Must for all 70 s heavy psych enthusiasts.

This is a heavy rock album with lots of fine guitar work, particularly on the title track, Lost In Trance, the most psychedelic cut, and Enchanted. All the songs on the album were written by lead guitarist D. Walloch.

  3. Thank you Alexander for filling the band members gap, as for the year 1969, I presume by mistake is written on the CD's cover.

  5. Another band called Euphoria, this time from Milwaukee, Wisconsin a very rare 1973 private press Rainbow Records (w/ Dennis Kitchen graphic) has the original - rainbow cover.

This is a heavy rock album is a highly collectable slice of psychedelic hard rock featuring some killer lead guitar. For this album, characterized by subtle guitar parts, especially on the title track Lost In Trance, the most psychedelic-cut, and Enchanted. you can appreciate guitars with heavy riffs, keyboards acids, tempo changes, passages proto-metal and an atmosphere heavy psychedelic manages to produce a good effect on the sound "overall" album, therefore, this is a promising Hard Rock album that presents a painstaking performance-though somewhat loose and partially-average instrumental performance that makes the sound has a certain drive and achieve reward those cliffs in some melodic bases .
Re-issue 2005 Mason Records 'Lost in Trance' is an album that deserves some respect and attention ... mandatory for all 70 heavy-crazy enthusiasts.

    Thx Marios & Laurent!

  6. Exellent heavy rock full of great guitars (not to be mixed with the other US psychedelic band Euphoria with the selftitled 1969 lp).I have it on vinyl.Thanx Marios and Laurent for this upgrade.

  7. The description make it sound tasty, the fact of a Dennis Kitchen graphic used on a private pressing is enough to intrigue me...
