Maybe NOW Foghat are "an unknown giant".. but when I was bigtime into them they were packing in 50,000 plus seat arenas regularly.. as one of the biggest bands of the mid 70s. Never really got to appreciate them live though until I got to see TWO foghats in the same week, in two different clubs.. that was Roger Earl's Foghat, and Dave Peverett's Foghat. They were doing auditions for a guitarist and I handed over my demo, but then the band musta kissed and made up, since they got back together as the original Fogat, and nobody got called back ! They were both just great in the clubs, although, natch, I preferred Lonesome Dave's show over Roger's, since Dave was the star, really..Doccus Rockus Maximushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11946174462883827539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7379959197726431640.post-74435181279341430652019-04-14T19:11:43.387+03:002019-04-14T19:11:43.387+03:00Foghat, an unknown giant !
